Petit Planet is HoYoverse’s upcoming title, which is a cozy life-simulation mobile game. The game revolves around planets, stars and galaxies, where you have to manage your own planet. You’ll get adorable pets as your game characters, you can upgrade them as you level up. With the help of your cute characters, you have to do gardening, cooking, fishing, and crafting items to level up faster.
They have also uploaded trailer of official game clips on YouTube Channel that have made fans super impatient to play. Luckily, we have an opportunity to test the game’s mechanics in early development. HoYoverse typically runs multiple testing programs for their games before deciding on a final release date. Two beta-tests have already been done, and the last one (The Star-drift Test) was closed in April 2026. Now, we have the final beta test, and it is already open as of August 26, 2026.

How to Sign Up for Petit Planet’s Final Beta-Test?
HoYoverse has opened sign-ups for users to register for the final beta test. Sign-ups are now open for a limited time only, so register ASAP if you want to get a chance to play Petit Planet before this winter season. Here’s the step-by-step guide:
- Head over to official test page of the Petit Planet website on your browser.
- You’ll see two options at the top of the webpage, Beta Sign-up and Pre-Registration. Click on Beta Sign-up.
- Players must have a HoYoverse account to sign up for final beta test program. (create a new account if you don’t have one).
- Click on the Join Beta option once you log in successfully.
- Now you have to complete the survey. They’ll ask a few questions regarding your gaming preferences and platforms (PC, Mobile).
- Submit the answers and finish the survey to complete the beta test sign-up process.
- Now you have to wait for confirmation. They will send a confirmation to your email if you’re selected.
The final beta test is held for PC (Windows only) and mobile (Android, iOS), and emulators are not allowed in this test. As I mentioned, sign-ups are open for a limited time only, and it will end on September 14, 2026. After that, players can’t register for the beta-testing program, and it’s the final one. We are now close to the Petit Planet release date, as developers have already announced the game is coming this winter 2026.
Petit Planet Pre-Registration
Did you pre-register for the game? Nope? Well, you should know that players who pre-register for Petit Planet will receive the Bestie Starlight item in the game when they log in at launch. This is just a reward for players who pre-register themselves, it has nothing to do with the beta tests. Even if you are not selected for the beta-testing program, you will still receive this bonus reward. So, if you haven’t registered for the game, run towards the official website and do it right now and secure the free items.
Also, if you didn’t get selected for the petit planet final beta-test, then it’s okay, there’s nothing to be upset about. The testing programs have limited slots for players, and it depends on luck for real. Luckily, HoYoverse has announced recently that they will launch the game in winter 2026.
